I'm noticing that the forums and .net as well as .com addresses are returning big fat blanks.  Launcher doesn't seem to be seeing the server as well.

    Yep, same here. Unfortunately, it's happened in the past and then they've been back up a short while later. So, while the actual demise of DnL is probably wishful thinking, LET"S WISH HARDER!!!::::20::

    Excuse me for being a lazy bugger and not investigating the latest posts in other threads, but this thread actually has the appropriate topic.

    I havn't really been following DnL the past few weeks, but I swear the forums havn't been functioning for atleast a week (Apologies if this has been noted elsewhere by others already). I seldom pop by, but it seems like for quite some time it has failed to load. Only the ".Com" site would load for me, but like it's been point out, even that's buggered now.

    Anyway, I will keep an eye on this thread, since I'm curious about the true reasons why the sites have dissapeared. I'm not mocking the speculation that has been proposed for the record, it seems perfectly valid :) But, it's speculation!

    Well, I just checked it again and found it went back up.  Something interesting that I noticed along time ago has just been confirmed for me.  Not sure how this may relate to how sloppy this ship is run but I am now 100% (*possitive) that the dnlguild.com site is on the same server as the main login server and the website/forum servers.  They just got hacked by Bela and Bodyguard.  There was a message that was up on the dnlguild.com site claiming the hack while the game login and website/forums was down.  When the dnlguild.com site was cleaned of the hacked frontpage, the darkandlight.net and .com sites came back up.

    Well, it seems as there is only about 1-2 new posts per day now and they usually have nothing to do with the game really.  The only thing posted today has been a Happy Holiday message.  Its pretty bad.

    Unfortunately, in a desperate attempt to prolong their torture, the DnL fanbois banded together and came up with the idea of attaching the main power source to Farlan's colon. Now, since the fanbois ( and the other devs) are the only ones in contact with Farlan's colon at all times, it has become almost impossible to shut it down. Noone outside of DnL supporters can degrade themselves enough to reach the colon and flip the switch. On a seperate note, Farlan walks around with a dazed smile all the time, now.

    Wow! Thanx! And here I thot the fanbois/supporters were already so far up Farlans colon the search party gave up a long time ago

    I don't think it's the fact that they would feel degraded...I think it's the only place that they feel that they are in their element. The only way to get them out would be to send Farlan some laxitives.image

    DnL since the beginning has always been really sketchy about everything. I wouldn't be surprised to find out one day that the game disappeared haha.
