in EVE Online

Hey there people, well iv been playin this game for 9 days, and my gosh, its fantastic.

I already have 14 skills and a little over 1mill skill points, which is fab hehe.

Anyways what im after is, whats the best way to make friends on eve? i know bout joining a corp, but how would i know which is the best one for me? Its all i lack in the game now is a few mates to run missions wiv etc, so was seeking some older players wisdom on how to tell which is a good corp to join etc.

    To learn alot and get a nice but generalised start maybe joining Eve-University is something for you.

    I've heard decent things about them, and they are focused on teaching new players the ins&outs (altho the specialist details are only learned later on).

    You could try them out, and look further from there after you've foudn out what part of the game takes your intrest.

    One simple thing to do is chat to as many people as possible.

    Chat to people in local when you're passing through, help channel when you need some advice or are experienced enough to give it, corp chat regularly. Just be sociable and i can guarantee you'll meet loads of players like yourself that'll want to mine, hunt, run complexes etc. with you.



    Glad you're enjoying the game. It's nice to hear from new players at Revelations to see how the game is different from when us older players joined.
