AoC on Xbox 360?

in Age of Conan: Unchained

 
   I was wondering if this is going to happen.  I thought I read somewhere that it was coming out on the Xbox 360,  but I might be wrong.

    Its coming out on at least one of the major consoles, approximately a year after the release of the PC version of the game. Which console is unsaid, but all evidence points to the 360.

    360 is probably best opinion, even though I (will) have only Wii.

    how ever i always feel online games are pest played on the computer  and getting it for the 360 might be a waste of money  PC will  be better

    yea it might be released to a console but games are so much better on a computer than a console, i think it will have a hard time selling

    you probably have read rumors about it. i sincerely hope that if there ever is a console version that it will in NO WAY interact with the PC version.

    If the game is good release it to console to. My reasoning is More money = better quality development. Its only matter of time an mmo hits consoles big. Wow with 7 mil accounts would be small or normal if a good game hit xbox 360  market well.

    Thanks for the link, since MMORPG.com seems to have deleted their 12/12/06 news story alert and the associated comments about this announcement, its nice to see the story is real and alive elsewhere.

    they have an article about AoC on the 360, where i believe it has been confirmed.
    just on details yet.
      and they dont know if it will link 360 and pc servers or not.

    even if its  not on 360, i'll still get it for pc.

    They might create specific servers for the xbox .. so just hope for it, and your gameplay won't be affected =)

    And, don't forget that the xbox game will be realeased at least 1 year after =)

    The Devs are unsure atm.  Id perfer to have seperate servers but thats just me.

    I was going to play it on PC but I'll wait for the 360 version now. Why? well it's certainly more awkward to communicate on a console but given the amount of hours MMO's absorb I'd rather be sat on my sofa than on a computer chair upstairs.

    considering the game videos say "Games for Windows" at the end is a pretty good indication that Microsoft has a handle on Funcom (as Microsoft does on Bungie "Halo" or EA does on Mythic) and will publish AoC for the 360

    I am looking forward to playing this game on my 360, but I am curious to see how the controls are gunna work.

    i wish they released both versions at once.... because then i wouldnt have to upgrade my computer.

    there is no way i am waiting for another year image

    i also hope that the 360 people and comp people are on the same servers, because it will help with population, plus you wont have to play on the same system as your friends

    what they could do to make everyone happy would be to have most servers mixed and then have a few "only computer" servers and a few "only xbox" servers

    I am so Pumped that this game is coming to the 360.  This is a win/win situation for everyone because the more subscribers you have the more money you're raking in, more money means more attention to expansions, updates, etc.  This is going to be my first MMO, unless it gets delayed past June of 2008 then I will become too disinterested and I will have to jump onboard some other MMO coming to 360.

    Mostly likely, it'll be X-box 360 players on one server type and PC players on another server type.

    Unless, the game comes with a Windows Vista requirement, then you would be able to have both X-Box 360 & PC players on the samer server. Apple/Mac owners & Linux/Unix users would be screwed.

    Apparently, Windows Vista is the only operating system which is compatable with X-Box Live.

    I'll probably have to put down a couple thousand for a new computer  because waiting a year after Oct 30 of this year, well that would be too painful. Though hopefully that's to insure the release date is the same for both.. I like to start out at the same time as everyone else, so it'd save me a LOT of money.. Would be nice to be able to play the game looking it's best without having to worry about all the glitches with various hardware issues of PC's as well. Here's to waiting.
