Cleaner looking RvR video!

I just found out that Mythic redid the lighting in their RvR video. In my opnion it looks much, much better.

Have a look, http://www.warhammeronline.com/english/media/podcast/files/WAR-pp_2006-11_RvR.html

    Still bad sound-effects image

I still don't get what people are complaining about. The attack effects are awsome, the little lights that flash when one character attack another makes it look like they've actually been hit. The knockdown is well co-ordinated too. The magic effects are really magicy, but what did you expect? Alot of the pinball sound is gone from the video. I love the goblin warcries. The Goblin Magic is supposed to be made of extoplasm, I'd like it to sound a little more goo-y if possible, I think a splat sound would be more appropriate then these shimmers. Aside from that I'd say this is pretty good.

What did you expect besides this? This looks better than WoW gameplay, go look for yourself if you doubt me.

The only thing I'm worried about is the size of the orcs.. they look quite small, even when standing next to a dwarf. I was expecting them to be enormous.. I know they're supposed to get larger with more levels, so hopefully the orcs featured in that video were 'young' orcs or something.

Yup, it's been stated that these are low levels.

As a Warhammer lore-junkie for ten years and an avid collector of Orcs, it is  average size, but the lore states: small Orcs are often confused for Big Goblins.. and considering Goblins are significantly smaller in average, I don't see a problem here. Orcs may start small, but they won't end as Giants (more or less as a small Ogres..) as far as I know.

Orcs are also bigger than they look like, they're just hunched over, but if they stood up straight, then the Dwarfs would be half as large.

They got almost the same scale as in the tabletop, (luckily my brother owns an batallion of Dwarfs to compare with).

boring. Whats with that video thats interesting?

If you told someone it was a wow video, it would take some time to realise that it isnt.

^^ Might be possible if the person you ask is 90 years old and has never smoked weed..

Looks nothing like wow at al, models are entierly different and so is the grafic design and textures.. go back to the cave you came from and eat your raw meat troll, because your not civilized enough to compare one game to another.

Its an alpha video, so i'm 100% sertain that they will change the soud effects.  did know that halo was an RTS in its alpha stage? so alot can and will happen..
