AL flopped before it was released. It has absolutely nothing new worth mentioning to the mmo world.
Good riddance to bad ilk.
Having nothing new doesn't mean anything. World of Warcraft brings absolutely NOTHING new to the table yet has 7, 5 MILLION subscribers.
Are you serious? Have you even thought about WHY that game has drawn so well? I think the game is overly simplistic but I can't deny the fact that WoW is the most accessible MMO that has been released to date. You don't have to know much about MMOs or even games in general to be able to pick it up and play it. It's about as basic as you can get from an MMO. That's not new?!?
Yes, Because we both know how incredibly hard Everquest and Daoc were /sarcasm
World of Warcraft brings absolutely NOTHING new to the table.
Yes WoW might not bring new features to the table, but it sure as hell can improve them alot.
Making a statement like that is like saying all FPS are the same.. I mean hey, they dont bring anything new to the table?
Umm..you kinda just proved my point, and I'm pretty sure thats not your intention.
We are comparing most korean MMOs to each other, its a BIG difference than comparing other, more popular american titles.
We say that korean MMOs are all the same, you complain about how WoW is no different than EQ and other titles. Well if you actually look you can see that a good 70% of korean MMOs use the exact same engine, interface, point and click playstyle, grindfest gameplay, a few items every 10 levels, ect.
Now compare those feats to WoW and other titles. The interface is completly different, they use different game engines, the graphics look different, the game is more indepth, more questing, ect.
Now if you say WoW and others are no different, then im guessing you mean by the same level up, quest, pvp, fun stuff, ect.
But if you compare them more in depth, yes, they are VERY different.
ok um like you ppls need to stop whineing haven't you heard if you cant say anything nice don't say a darn thing at all and they wont lose money the sell games and they still have rf online to bring in the big cash and from waht i saw about the game play it seams real cool and fun so while you nooblets are groping your lvl 60 wow nightelfs ill be powning monsters
I know folks hate WoW, Korean MMOs, just about every MMO out there. But I mean hey.. It's free! I paid for Shadowbane from launch till about 8 months into it when I was done. Then years later, I played it again for free.
So they're bad MMOs? Maybe, but they're not really bad games by any means.
I'm just a tad disturbed by the April Fools Day date folks are posting. LoL
I kill other players because they're smarter than AI, sometimes.

It's better be hated for who you are, than loved for who you aren't.

Well Archlord was basically the Fantasy version of RF Online
Guaranteed and in Beta I had at least 3/4 of the Beta pop agree with me on it
Codemasters is trying its best as a company to get its head above water so it can produce a good MMO
They WERE developing one at a point in time but I dunno what happend to make it fall through so badly
R.I.P. Dragon Empires
But yeah if Codemasters doesn't stop with the Foreign Filth of Grindfests they'll go under like someone drowning
