Finding a game

Hello, I need help finding a game...

Preferably a free one, but I'd be willing to pay a little bit.

The kinda game I'm looking for has melee, ranged, and magic attack, and your character is able to learn all kinds of attack.

The game has tradeskills, like Carpentry, Tailor, Blacksmith, Mining, etc.

The game is made so that the characters are more reliant on other people than buying from town vendors

Characters are able to purchase land and build a house.

The game's community is quite active and it's easy to be quite social in-game.

I kinda hate games where you are able to buy in-game items or such with real money, i believe that ruins a game.

Basically I'm looking for a replacement for RPG World Online

If you can think of a game that at least comes a little bit close to what I described please throw me a link

EDIT: Also, if someone knows of a game where you're not limited to "Level 100" or "Skill Level 100" I'd love to take a look at that game as well.

thanks.

The game you're looking for no longer exists.

Star Wars Galaxies used to be close, but SOE butchered it.

Some of the MMORPGs coming out soon do fit the bill though, have a look around.

  • Well I was in your predicament a few days ago, so I consulted a friend. He told me about this great game called ogreisland. He said it was free and began to explain how there was sometimes (and you aren't going to believe this) up to FORTY-FIVE PLAYERS ONLINE. I instantly thought inside of my head, "I don't think I'm ever gonna' leave the house now". However! it didn't stop there. I instantly ran towards my computer which is equipped with a connection hefty enough to handle the massive amounts of data that would be transferred in the form of roleplaying. So! there I was at a purely beastial machine. I had within the machine equipped the finest of today's home computing technology and software. There it was a machine with a monster 750Mhz CPU, a 128mb ram stick, a 32mb vga graphics card, a Mozilla webbrowser equipped with flash7, and a hard drive containing exactly 8 mb of open space (dont be suprised by the immense amount of space). I typed in the url half out of breath http://www.ogreisland.com/motd.aspx. And that's when I saw it, the google ad. I exploded in my pants. Now I don't know about you, but with that ad and the vast amount of players online, they must be pulling in millions a month. It was too much to handle. I knew then that this game was far too good for me. I would never be able to understand the complexities. But perhaps you will be able to handle the sheer magnitude and brilliance of this graphical marvel. That is, if you and your CPU can handle the pressure.
