Pre-order question on 'non-transferability'

Hello all,

I've been following this game for awhile and am excited to see it coming along. My question is that once you get the pre-order box and are able to get into open-beta (whenever that is) is the 'special scroll' item you get in the pre-order box only for your character in the open-beta? Or is it only for the one you create when the official release comes out. I ask this because I remember reading recently that beta characters and items you get in beta are non-transferable when official release comes around... so I was wondering where that 'special item' fit in with all this.

Thanks

I think the item is one per account so I very much doubt that it will be transferable.

    PS: Good name :)

Very doubtful about transferable exclusive item.

So I'm to assume that the item can be used on your beta character and cannot be transferred on to your character you create when the actual game comes out correct? Sorry if I'm not being clear enough... I'm asking under the assumption that your beta character cannot be brought over to the release.

    PS: Thx image

The way I read it - it sounded like the "scroll" was for your character when you start playing the released game.  Getting into some version of beta was another benefit of the pre-order box, as well as getting  a 3-day "head-start" when the game goes live.

Ok, that's what I was thinking thanks for the reply.

Sidenote: Went to the local gamespot and EB games around here in Rochester, NY. No dice on the pre-order, they said maybe over the weekend or sometime durring the week. The one comment the girl had for me was that I'm going to need an "uber-computer" to run this game. After viewing the system requirements, I don't necessarily agree with that... I guess we will all see for sure when we can get our hands on open-beta.
