So i dont judge a game till i really get into the gritty of it. EVE took a LONG time to really get the fun out of it but i took a couple months and i was ready for action.
I proved myself and joined a corp and we were ready for our first war against the guild insignious. So Me, nighthawkins, Briggies and Fergalcious were flying into battle, they were shooting at us, i did a hyper rebound i was like ADADDADA and i was shooting at them. It was crazy i was losing shields, brigs flew in the titanic and hwarqw
OMGH BRIGS NOOOOOOO

"Kaneda! What...do you see?"
eve is decent. I can see why its likeable, though I HATE it
I find it amazing that by 2020 first world countries will be competing to get immigrants.
Wrong forum.
It has, Imo, too many flaws, and the main one for me is downtime. Every MMORPG is trying to reduce downtime as much as possible, yet EVE doesn't seem to even try to remove downtime. For everything you do you have to WAIT. entering a space station, Combat, mining heck, even such as simple as picking up loot takes a good 10~30 seconds. its always wait, wait, wait. you sure need a lot of patience for EVE, thats for sure.
MMORPGS are not games.
I don´t usually bother replying to your constant trolling of every thread that has the slightest connection to EVE but I guess I´ll make you happy this time.
What you said is complete BS. There most definetly isn´t any 10-30 sec delay when you loot or enter station. I just checked how long it takes me to enter stating from pressing dock and it was about 3 secs and looting window pops instantly.
Oh really? I play MMORPGs because they are games. If you want a job, get one that inflates your wallet instead of destroying your parents'.

First, learn what trolling actually means.
Next, I never said that entering the station takes 10~30 seconds, get your facts right. Even if your close to the station it takes quite some time to actually fly to the station. Ofcourse looting window pops up instantly...after you spend a good 10~30 seconds flying towards the loot to pick itu p.

A+ for truth. That too is one of my main problems with the game. It makes me angry when I only have about an hour or so to play. EVE isn't for everyone, but it is my second favorite MMO behind Neocron.

First im quite aware what the term trolling means but you seem to be having trouble recognizing it.
Secondly maybe you should update your EVE knowledge because since Revelations was released there has been Warp To 0 option which jumps right next to stargates and stations. So you dont need to fly the last 15km out of warp as you did before.
The last part I agree with you though looting stuff is probably the most tedious part of EVE and especially in larger missions can take quite awhile. Though you dont necessarily have to fly around that much if you get yourself a tractor beam it still takes time.
A troll is someone who is:
1: Flaming other people
2: Trying to pull a flame from another forum poster, provoking.
I did neither of those, I state my opinion.
And I stand corrected, I did not know about the new warp feature.
That said, I have not heard about fixes for the waiting of the other issue's.
I don't state my opinions as facts, Because if you read my post in this thread carefully, you wil see that I added "Imo", which stands for "In my opinion". and stating your opinion about a game is not provoking.

You said "imo the game has too many flaws" . Fair enough, it has plenty of flaws in my opinion too. But that is also all it means. So your opinion, conveyed by that post, was that the game has too many flaws. It wasn´t in my opinion it takes too long to dock. Those were the problems listed by you that caused your opion of "the game has too many flaws". Reading comprehension ftw.
Anyway this is big waste of my time. Have fun "not trolling".

This has to be one of the worst statements I've ever heard on these forums in my time of being here.
wow...

Posted in just a few posts above this one. as you said, Readng comprehension ftw.

Do you have any idea how ridiculous your post sounds? You try to attack Gameloading, but get slapped with logic. So you turn to a Johny Cocren (Don't know the accurate spelling of his name) defense, by trying to mince words and confuse everyone, including yourself. When you make a mistake, just say "Sorry". Then move on, that's all you really had to do.
In War - Victory.
In Peace - Vigilance.
In Death - Sacrifice.
QFT, Gameloading wins.
Having said that, I agree completely with you, Gameloading. This game seems to enjoy punishing players for spending time in-game. I've tried on 5 or 6 different occasions to make free trials (at one point I actually paid for the game) and enjoy it, and I simply can't, even when I have RL friends to group with. Not being able to have an active role in leveling my skills is game-breaking IMO. When you remove this, all that's left is farming and PvP, and the PvP in this game is reduced to territorial clan-wars and gate-camping or griefing. I also would have liked to craft, and perhaps build a station, but these are both practically impossible without 20-30 people backing you up.
BTW, for future reference, the warp-to-0km feature DOES NOT WORK in auto-pilot. In my opinion, this is a mistake, and incredibly lame. Yes, I understand their reasoning, and it's still stupid. Also, having to manually click every 2-3 seconds to maximize transversal velocity, while adding SOME measure of skill, is also extremely stupid. Either make this game a twitch-based flying simulator, or automate these types of functions. This half-ass hybrid of the two is not working for me. Either it involves hand-eye skills, or it doesn't.
BTW Roin, his name is spelled Cochran, I believe.

And Cochran is dead, btw...I mean, just so we all know...ok then...I'll go now...ahem.

You are right it´s very lame. Don´t know what I was thinking last night but it was definetly lack of common sense on my part. I apologize for flaming you Gameloading.

Well to those who bash on EVE here... sorry you guys did not give it a try.
I have been playing EVE-Online for almost 3 years now, I found it very interesting from the beginning up to now.
I remember back when I started the game where I had to fight to get my first cruiser and how I lost it to some pirates when we where in Low Sec, looking over our shoulders after them :-)
The daily downtime is there for a reason, it resets the server so it runs smoothly, it gives the Dev's a small window where they can put in fix'es... and even better... it gives people a reason to get to bed in time where they don't sit 24/7 up on the game !!!, it also is used to respawn ore and so, without those downtimes things might not have looked so smoothly in EVE.
And what most people probably don't know... it is not really 1 hour, sometimes it is only 15 minutes/30 minutes...
I don't feel punished when I loose a ship, I know I get something back and it takes me less than a week to build a battleship from scratch!!!! and it makes me think twice on what I did wrong and how to improve me.
MMORPGS are not games.
I thought MMORPG = massive multiplayer online role-playing game
If it was suppose to be a job maybe they would have named it this? MMOJ = massive multiperson online job
I agree with the previous person that this statement is one of the dumbest I have ever seen. Something tells me altairzq needs a life?
