Ok I want to start playing EvE! Just need a little help...

Ok I have played the 14-day trial a few months back and I want to start playing. I just have a few requests that I hope that someone can help me with.

Firstly, if there is any veteran willing to take a complete n00b under his/her wing that would be very much appriciated.

Second, if anyone can offer advice on how to recuit people to the game (mainly my friends, we're call casual gamers)

Any help is very well appriciated and if any verteran is willing to help I will provide my xfire tag. Thanks!image

Getting your friends to join in on the game is as easy as getting them to create thier own trial account, which I have the link to in my sig. One of your best bets to learn the game is to browse thru the New Citizens Q&A forum on the Eve site. Other then that, work on finding a corp via the recruitment channel and ask around in your noob corp channel.

posting here for help instead of EVE forum makes no sense and there is a "new player HELP channel" you are automatically connected to when you first start your character. Your post makes me wonder why you posted here?

It is the link to the 14 day trial on Eve's site. Just go there, put in your e-mail and the code it generates and you get an e-mail back from CCP with your trial key. It still works as I used it a couple days ago to keep playing while my account lapses for a week lol.

Also, it would be best to do a new char.  Since the last big patch starter chars have great skill points to start.

I know Gallente and Amarr soldiers start with Gunnery 5 and small hybrid 5, and Minmatar Special Forces have Evasive Manuvering and great capacitor skills.

I had to reroll my miner because of the patch.  My new one has so much better mining skill.  I did go from 900k sp down to 809k but the trade off was well worth it.

I'll help you out, PM me.  As for getting your friends to play, tell them its free for 14 days so they have nothing to lose.

My advise if for you to first establish yourself into the game and form your own corp then get your friends to come to eve and jopin your corp that way you are all together learning together and then when you are ready go to the recruitment channel explain who you all are [relative newbs a groupe of real life friends] then ask if any vets want to join you to gelp you out in return for being part of a small friendly corp.
