Trial?

in Final Fantasy XI

Hello! I'm a big fan of FFXI so naturally i bought it a while back. Alot of my online buddies were starting up lineage 2 so I had left. After a while, I started missing FFXI so I tried to go back. Unfortunetly, they deleted my account because of 3 months inactivaty. Is there a free trial or something along that line I can try? I want to see if it's how I remember it... or even better. I Just want to make sure before I go out and pay $29.99 for another copy. Thank you in advance!

    FFXI is maybe the only game i know that doesnt have some kind of trial. I think FFXI would get alot more subs if theyd offer a 7 day trial.

    Not really. Your first 7 days how far along were you? Level 10-11 maybe?

    At that time the game is incredibly hard if you're just starting, the game would get a lot more negative posts and such about it on forums.

    you are very correct and that did pop in to my mind but in my first 7 days i was already with a sub job, I was amazed with how big and lush the world was. I think thats really on the player and what they actually expect out of the game.

    Having no trial is stopping me from trying this game as I don't want to buy it and find out it's crap.

    Because you can't afford 30 bucks for the game, three expansions, and a 30 day trial. Nice.
