well if i have any complaints with this game, 1 of them is this, you dont choose your starting server unless some1 buys you an in game world pass. so that makes it tough. but if u would like to join a server, ive only been playing about a month and i am settled in on my server.

I kinda have a set bunch of players in my LS however that doesnt mean your not welcome to join.I can answer most any question,and help with most anything.You do get to choose your starting nation however not the server.Most players always play jobs/classes other than there main and quite often strat up new jobs[level1].It is in these cases where you could join in to play ,but for the most part it would be up to you to invite other players to join in and static with yourself.

I play on garuda server[home of the legendary]PIKKO ,yep the ever friendly site manager of pikko's pots and editor for allakahzam.

Even if you don't want to join my LS i could still get you a world pass to garuda.This way i would be available to help out.Always best for everyone to have the same home nation.Our's is WINDHURST.You get a starting ring depending on nation and race however this is a lowbie ring that really shouldn't influence where you start.

This game has a great community across all servers ,this i am sure of.I think the reason is the games makeup and patience needed,it is not a game that would influence little kids.

from the very beginning try to gain some friends that you can party with on a steady basis and try to become a static party together.You can fly by night as a whm,because it is always a needed job,however the game is not suited to solo or fly by night.

I can't get the game to open. I think because of my sucky on board graphics. I guess I'll be playing Ryzom now instead. I did get that one to work. Thanks to their "game configuration" feature. As well as the forums that has "How to" in it.

I am not sure where you got stuck ,and its been so long since i installed it.Perhaps you didn't get the playonline viewer installed or an account setup properly.Video cards and to some extent sound cards are major problems when comes to games problems.Drivers need to be updated and match the version of directx you are using,so using the latest and newest directx would most likely require the most updated drivers as well.Video drivers are usually black screens or very slow choppy frame rates ,while sound cards will often be stuttering or repeating sounds.

Yes I did do all that. What happens is when I try to log in to the game. It will not open. I forgot what the error was. I know I get this same thing with EQ2 and other 3D games. I get a error that states the game can not run.
