Free MMORPGs

Do you know of any free MMORPGs to play?
What is everyone's opinion of P2P games and F2P games?

Should all games be free or should we pay for all the games?

    free game link

I don't care as long as its condusive to making a game thats fun to play, this means that i've perfered subscribitonbased/semi-subscribtion based.

I find it amazing that by 2020 first world countries will be competing to get immigrants.

Generally speaking P2P-games are in fact better due to that they often have a larger staff and with that better customer support (this does not apply to all games though, I know).

Personally I stay away from F2P-games because I am yet to find a decent one of those. And the customer base of those, from my experience, aren't the kind of people I want to hang out with. Seems that if people PAY to play games they tend to take it a tad more seriously.
So I'll continue to pay for my playing. At least I will as soon as I find a game that I like again.

Currently in some sort of mystical void of "no-game-suits-me". But one day I am sure there'll be one just for me. image

The 52325 in the URL is obviously you, so what do you get as a kickback for referring people? Just curious.

most (newer) f2p games seem to have pretty good quality nowadays, but they also seem to be based on pure grind only.
and as mentioned above, the player base is very mixed, plus the bot problems seems to be even bigger than in p2p. many f2p have item malls, and once you get sucked into those, you spend more money compared to a game with fixed monthly fee....

i prefer the p2p games for reasons mentioned in above threads. in terms of money overall, i don't spend more money on the monthly fees when comparing to buying a new offline game every 3 or 4 months. so no, not all games should be f2p.
the only 1 i vote for f2p is DDO - why pay for a D&D game, if you can play NWN for free with tons of free modules? sure it's not an MMO, but DDO isn't your average MMO either.
