Lets see now, Burning crusade fastest selling PC game(exapnsion) in history, hence making it the most sucessfulPC game in 2007, if any full game even sells or adds another 1miillion plus subscribers to an already existing PC game in 2007 i will go eat a live donkey. So once again most sucessful game of 2007 thus far is Burning crusade with 3.5 million units sold thus far.

Point taken. However, I would consider the Burning Crusade as simply an expansion, not a whole new mmo in 2007. So I would not count it or even consider it despite its very successful sales figures.
So 2007 is almost here. (Man time fly's) But anyways what do you think will be 1. Biggest Disappointment 2. Biggest Flop (could be the disappointment too) 3. Biggest Sleeper Hit. 4. Most anticipated. 5 Most sucsessful (besides Eve, WoW, and older MMO's, this is for the new ones) And any others you want to add.
1: Biggest disappointment: Lord of the rings online
2: Biggest flop: Darkfall (if it gets released in 2007. If not, The Chronicles of Spellborn)
3: Biggest sleeping Hit: Aion
4: Most anticipated in the general mmorpg community: Vanguard. My personal: Granado Espada
5: Most successfull: Lord of the rings online (because of its name)/ Vanguard: Saga of heroes
1. Biggest disappointment: Age of Conan, I have a bad feeling about the twitch combat. I hope the nail it down right but that kind of system is just open to so many exploits that it could fail miserably.
2. Biggest flop: Vanguard COH, I just don't see this game reaching the heights that SOE and Sigil probably wanted. The game will probably hover around the 100k subs mark.
3. Biggest Sleeping hit: Pirates of th Burning Sea, I see this game as a more relaxed version of Eve but set in a better timeline with more character and story to it. I could be wrong but the game looks damn fun to me.
4. Most Anticipated: WAR by far. There are probably more threads concerning WAR than any other two upcoming MMORPGs on this forum.
5. Most successful: Either LOTRO or WAR, they are both fairly talked about and the real decision will be made when WAR enters beta. LOTRO is just the right amount of casual-ness to attract the WoW crowd as well as long-time LOTRO fans. I don't think the game will disappoint either group.

Nothing much will happen this year except for the launch of Age of Conan (hopefully)
2008 will be much more exciting in my most humble opinion.
Yeah, yeah, Vanguard was this years biggest failure but that wasn't any surprise to anyone who were in the beta or read about it.
It will be interesting to see how Lord of the Rings Online is doing towards christmas.
