I was just wondering if anyone can give any info about the vangaurd game play. Ive heard a lot of good stuff about the game. I have preordered vangaurd so i hope it is good lol. I am a litle disapointed that SOE has the markiting rights to it, seeing how they destroyed the most famous story ever. but im going to give them one more try I guess but if this game gets changed in the middle Im getting my money back.
My questions are:
What do you think about the game?
How do you feel about SOEs marketing of the game?
How many of you will not give SOE a Second chance?
Comments
Well personally you must be on the opposite end of the spectrum to a lot of people on this forum. I havent heard anything good about this game! Let alone that its made by the dreaded SOE.
Nah, some peoples think Vanguard is nice, it is on the top most expected games on this forums, despite many low hypes.
Lately there are artificial input of Vanbois, peoples praising the game endlessly, aka strangers to this site mostly.
Personnally, with a raid-free server (details enclosed in other posts) would make me call Vanguard home, it isn't that bad. However, it redo many critical mistakes that older games made, such as enforcing raiding on everyone that consider PROGRESS important, which is the core of the MMO players. Of course many will be nice and pretend it isn't, but it might still be quite important to them, even if they don't openly admit it. Anyone who reach maximum level before an expansion come out is extremely likely to find progression quite important, no matter what they say. Judge them with their actions, not their intentions.
Without a raid-free server (details enclosed in other posts), I would not even buy it.
Now, about your question...
GAMEPLAY: Well, Vanguard features at least 4 distincts gameplays (5 on PvP servers). It is pretty hard to answer your question, without knowing which gameplay you are reffering to, or if it is an overlapping question? I think that enforcing EACH gameplay is a mistake (they don't enforce PvP however), if that helps answering your question...
