Best MMO evar?

What I really want in a MMO is simple, yet INCREADIBLY complicated.



I want a lot of customization. Like, CoH level character customization. Nothing is more important to me than being unique, or standing out in a mob, or being recogniazable in a game. The game would still have items you would equip, but you can tweak the items to match your outfit, to an extent.



I want class customization. I hate static classes, where everyone is the same, or where everyone leads towards the same class set-up (with talents, feats, skills, depending on the game). I want something out of D&D. That many classes. Yeah, a few base classes, but then there are like, hero and prestige classes. Witht that many classes, it would be hard to be the same as someone else.



I want characters to affect the world. The world is filled with a bunch of one time events. People who participate get a unique item, and server-wide recognition. NPC's will call you a "dragonslayer", if you were part of a event in whitch you slew a dragon. People can make their own towns, their own homes. That sort of stuff.



But their still needs to be communication. The only game I have played that has pulled off a fun and effective communication network is WoW. Yeah, crazy, huh?



If you pull that together, and make it look better than WoW (not better graphics, just more realistic), I would pay money for that.





I just want to know if anyone else thinks this would be the best game, EVAR.

Dude, This has been beaten into the dirt already.

Even though EVERYBODY wants a good game, it doesn't matter.

The industry is only interested in making money. Push out as many games as fast as they can. Get thier $50 per box and become rich. They do not care if you are having fun because you are willing to buy the next piece of crap they will push out.

If I boxed up my own poop and people buy it, then I'll keep doing it.

When the public says, "hey, this is poop".

Then I'll just poop in a different box and tell you it is better poop than the last one. Even though it's really just the same poop.

And so on and so on.

See, but I choose to beleive that people like NCSoft (who have quite a few games, and all are fairly good), or another game company, will break that mold. It will happen, too. It probably already has. But it probably got snubbed.



Gamers, fucking rebel. WoW, while a good game, is basically a giant, loose whore. Pleasant, but unfulfilling, and might give you an affliction (carpal tunnel?).



I don;t know. SOMEONE needs to take their heads out of their ass.
