does Mxo have any life in it?

Ive heard the mxo is a dwindling game and there arent that many people still in it. I wanted to rejoin but was unsure if many people were still in it, i find it more enjoyable when you have many people in it... so is there still quite a few people left in it?

Yes there are people still in it, not "millions" like WOW. But a tight community that values the game. Some of us have spent over 100 days of online time. Not just being subscribed, I mean that we have been logged into the game now, that's right over 2400 hours of logged time. There are live events all the time, Devs take over what are known as "LET" (Live Event Characters) such as the Merovingian, Niobe, Ghost, etc... You can chat to movie characters, everything. There are 100's of different interactive emotes and moods, this game is well worth the $14.99 a month.
I'd say definitly join, within a month there is no way you would even think about leaving.
Major updates, which add new game features, contain the bug/balance fixes etc, are currently on a 6 week schedule - always with the possibility of a hotpatch or two throughout that cycle of course.
Inbetween those though there's a new critical mission for each org released every thursday which, along with a live event every couple of days or so, drive the story forward.
These guys are part of the MXO "Player Marketing team." They basically go to sites like this, create a bunch of accounts and sapm vauge advertisments for MXO.
The servers are empty for the most part, especially Vector.
Major updates, aren't really major if you're thinking in terms of most MMO's. Just beware of these really vauge MXO fans who are doing nothing more than trying to sell the game for thier own interest, in other words, this marketing team is hoping the devs will recognize this and give them items/ roleplay with them.

1. SkyJackal hasn't said the servers were full, aswell as others haven't. If they've seen more people on the servers because they were more lucky, that doesn't mean they're lying.
2. You could call them "major", although these updates aren't opposed to smaller updates but rather "hotfixes". Anyway, I don't see anything really wrong with that term.
"Add new game features"? Check. Not as big as in others, but that wasn't said. "Bug fixes"? Check. No misstatements here, aswell as in the rest of his post.
3. The player marketing initiative has died, as far as I know. Speaking for myself, I'm just answering questions and state my honest opinion or facts about the game. I don't intend to advertise anything, at least artificially. I doubt I'm alone with this attitude.
4. We both know that you also come here to create multiple accounts, spam outdated sensitive information, bash and diss the game and its community, and mostly step over the line considering truthfulness.
Stop being so hypocritical (and don't quote this sentence alone just to say "no, I'm not hypocritical, ur hypocritical lol").
5. Even if giving out falsely positive information about the game, ignoring bad aspects, bending the truth and attracting outsiders to the game with advertisements (all things I'm trying and probably succeeding to avoid here),
the intention of such a marketing company would be to bring more players into the game, and apart from bringing more life into it, increase the game's budget to improve the development.
It hasn't and can't have anything to do with role playing and free items, because first the Devs hardly read these forums to our knowledge, and secondly because items are rewarded for ingame actions (mostly) and Rarebit basically role plays with anybody.
I know a case where a player bashed the game's storyline in an aggressive and destructive manner, and then had an intelligent role play conversation with a LE character. So don't give me that favoritism thing.

I also have reasons to assume that you're Mr.Vash, the one who spammed the LESIG list just like here. And since you invented that story with your hacked account, I have no reason to believe whatever you say here.

I'm not part of that compaign, and never was - trust me. I've participated in a few discussions about these forums and the marketing compaign, and exchanged a few PMs with BloodWork and Skyjackal, without any conspiracy stuff.
That's really all there is, and it doesn't suffice to classify me as a part of any campaign.

That's true. I'm just saying what I'm seeing. If there's a big conspiracy going on behind the curtain, I don't know about it. But I also won't believe anything you tell me about it, for very good reasons.

Maybe you should be honest when trying to sell the game. These updates are not major, and when people read that they think it’s on par with EvE and WoW updates. It’s not even close. A major update in mxo is adding a new shade to a pair of pants.

Playing with others isn't the prerequisite for knowing the game or having an opinion about it, only the prerequisite for knowing the social part of the game and have an opinion about it.

No, my friend. When know little about an area, I'm being intentionally vague and suggesting to avoid stepping over my competences. I haven't compared this game to other games, and if I've done it, it was based on other players' statements, which I've always been adding, I think.

I've read the other list, and apart from a few points about PvP and stuff I know little about, I agreed with everything. Well, there have been a few things I didn't agree with. Erm, forgot the details, let's move this to another thread which has a link to that list.
Many statements in this list were kind of one-sided, and I think partially exaggerated. I've reacted to each one, you can read it up.
However, I didn't have much to say to this one since I don't know the proper answer. But, I did have something to say regarding ZippyDodah's post - accusations I couldn't let stand due to my nature.
If you read a bit through this "flaming BS", you'll see that much of it still revolves around the original question, that a major part of it is a debate, not flaming BS.
Think about it: In the end, all you've done in this thread so far is that you've insulted two people, and haven't contributed anything to the OP's question aswell.
Oh, and btw I did read the posts I just got tired of reading the debate because the info was of no use to me. I thought possibly it was but not as much as I found out.

a) Well... there is a certain group of TMO players who post here generally positive things about this game.
And there's the other group, who posts rather...negative things about it. Often in quite an insulting manner.
Tell me, how do "we" have less of a right to call you vicious trolls and bashers with a vendetta than you have the right to call "us" a fanboi marketing movement who wants to suck up to admins?
Here's a suggestion from someone who has partaken in a number of flamebaits, thread hijacks and personal debates in this forum himself: put aside your vendetta against this game and its playerbase (if you have any), put aside spam and insults, put aside promotion, marketing and euphemizations; most importantly, put aside personal attacks and accusations.
I'll try to apply the same to myself, aswell.
Let's just constructively talk about the subject (if there's anything to say anymore) and stop with this childish flamewar, it doesn't help anyone. Vendettas against communities and games are just silly and waste of time, artificial promotion dishonorable, and equally important, pointless on the long run.

b) There is a huge difference between accounts and multiple accounts. You see, you can't post on this forum and tell your opinion without an account, so it's understandable.
