Ryzom - says "unofficial player news" yet it is posted on the front page and stored in the News Archives.

SpellBorn - seemed to have been originally posted on the forums by a member, later placed on the front page by an admin.

Vangard - official news, scroll down to the "December 5th 2006 - Vote Vangard!" entry.

Pirates of the Burning Sea - could only link to the discussion page. Poster is Flying Labs's "Community Envoy".

EVE Online - (can't leave this one out) the post hasn't fallen off the main page yet.

Those were just a few of the "official" posts that made it to the front page of the games' web sites. There are probably hundreds of other posts buried in official and unofficial forums and game sites.

Which brings us to the conclusion that most large MMORPG companies of today didn't do what CCP did, hence the victory of EVE in every award.

Doesn't really matter anymore anyway.  After what happened last year during the awards, I didn't even bother to vote this time.   Eve-Online winning Best PvE, nuff said.  The voting and rankings on the site have become a joke.  I haven't taken them seriously for a long time now, and yes this has become the 2nd home of Eve-Online fanboys.

    In War - Victory.
    In Peace - Vigilance.
    In Death - Sacrifice.

MMORPG had little enough credibility to begin with and now they've simply proved once again that they cater to whomever sends them advertising dollars. Well done MMORPG you've let who knows how many duplicate accounts vote in your "Readers" choice awards and given liscense to a completely worthless game to make a false boast for another year.
