Character Wipes?

in Cabal Online
I read that beta 1 and Beta 2 testers info would not be wiped.  So does that mean all of us that just got in final beta will lose our characters?  Kind of  silly to offer Christmas special items such as pets, etc just to delete us.

    what they may mean is that they might rollback the server, which means they might reset the server to the time it wasnt buggy which was before ob and after cb2 thats why they say 1st/2nd wont be wiped, also its no certain but the may do a total wiped but most games total wipe after beta

    While most US mmo's do wipes after beta, most Asian mmo's do not.  Hopefully there won't be any rollbacks or wipes.  But I think what they meant with the whole "*1st/2nd Closed Beta Tester's character information will not be wiped!" is that they would not be wiped for final beta... not that they wouldn't be wiped after final beta.
