Help Me Find an MMORPG, please?

I can NOT find a MMORPG that I can stick with. I've played:

Everquest

Everquest 2

World of Warcraft

Dark Age of Camelot

Auto Assault

City of Heroes/City of Villains

Guild Wars

A very large assortment of non MMO, but online, games such as Diablo 2... Warcraft... etc.

All I want is some suggestions of games for me to play that maybe I'll stick with for once. Here's my play style: I dislike soloing very much. I am a huge grouper. I am a huge PvPer. Sometimes I'll PvP and nothing else, and sometimes I'll grind/instance/team/whatever the game calls for for PvE, having to do with being in a group. So basically I'm a grouper/PvPer.

I know FFXI is a huge group game, but I've checked out the PvP and it looks terrible, to be honest...

I, obviously, need a game that's not a boring combat system where you repeatedly hit the same button(s) over and over again on mobs you fought last week, and the week before that, in the zone that you fought in last week, and the week before that.

Even if you give suggestions of games that I've listed I've already played, I'll take the suggestion into consideration and give 'em another shot.

What're some good group/PvP MMO games?

Every mmo out is flawed. If you choose a game based on its merits you will not find a winner. play with some friends is usually the best tactic as atleast you can laugh at how bad the game is when youre in the pub.

Some games are more for solo people... WoW and CoH/V have great solo content. Some games are more for grouping, especially like FFXI. Some games are known for their PvP. I'm not saying "I want a game that is everything I'll love." I'm saying maybe I'll find something I can stand playing because it's my style of playing.

Obviously after playing CoH, WoW, and all those other ones, I know that MMORPG's are completely flawed. But it's the only kind of game I like and I can deal with the flaws.

So back on topic, can someone suggest specific games?

    My suggestions:

Matrix online- Highly under rated *imo* its release wasnt that great cause of lots of bugs and the game just seemed unfinished, now though it has fixed all that, and added alot more content to the game. Give it a shot imo, of course its diffrent tho, and everyone has diffrent tastes so it might not interst you all that much. Leveling is difficult also, but with the mission system it has that offers lots of diffrent encounters, its somthing i personally can overlook.

FFXI-Group based mmo, very difficult altoghether imo, the major flaw that bugged me with this game was the economy, prices are alot of times ridicuolous especially at lower lvls. Play the market right though and you can make tons of money to get what you need. The actualy challenge of the game with the combat system, and the story line is what got me hooked.

Saga of ryzom-Sandbox like Eve, the overall world is diffrent compared to all mmo's, features a fun skill making system in which you can craft your own skills. The isle *free trial* is very entertaining, however most get lost once they get to the mainland, my advice if and when you do, get a guild and make some friends, this game revolves alot on what the players do.

All three were fun for me, they do have flaws and playstyles that dont suit everyone though.

Thanks, I'm starting to lean towards FFXI. How's the combat system in it? Fast paced or slow paced?

depends on what your doing, the PVP is pretty fast

    the leveling is pretty slow

and the HNMs are pretty tactical, faster then grouping, right in between the 2

    Go for guildwars fun game

Whenever i step outside, somebody claims to see the light
It seems to me that all of us have lost our patience.
    'cause everyone thinks they're right,
And nobody thinks that there just might
Be more than one road to our final destination--

    Anarchy Online

Graphics are a little dated since it is an older game. Plenty of grouping while you level and raiding at higher levels especially if you have the Shadowlands expansion, but you'll have to have a subscription to be able to get the expansions. You can play for free but you will not be able to get the expansions. The newest expansion focused mainly on pvp. Their is plenty of pvp at all levels but until you have a high lvl character to fund your alts you will be dominated by low lvl twinks during low lvl tower wars.

    Rf Online

I've never played it but it's suppose to focus on a type of rvr I hear. I also read it has a rough lvl grind but grouping is the best way to grind through it  so the game should have plenty of grouping.
