GuildWars because it has an excellent skill system that is well balanced, and very easy to learn/intuitive gameplay. The competitive aspects are what takes it to a level above other titles - that and there is no subscription fee.
DarkSpace I found a few years back when looking for space based games. The community back then was one of the best you could find, and the gameplay itself is unique. I have never found another game like it. I then got involved with community support, and later invited to join the GM staff. Now I am a Developer for the game, so of course, I naturally view the game with rose tinted spectacles :-). However, there is still no other game that competes with the unique gameplay style :-P You can try comparing it to EvE, but the only real similarities are that it is set in space, and you fly a spaceship.
I'm playing CoH/V right now, mainly because I don't play very often. It's a nice "once in a while" sort of game. Too much and it gets a bit tedious, though. I'll probably play a wee bit of WoW with the hubby when the expansion is out. (we were both in beta and he's always maintained a sub. I get a bit bored with it too, though) I'm looking forward to Warhammer Online and Pirates of the Burning Sea. So far, anyway.
WoW normally cus i've got good friends on there and also a great guild.. i also raid a bit on there too but not as much as i used to. Play 9dragons and exteel sometimes too but those are more games of playing little time every day or you get bored of them. I'm hoping to play the vanguard beta too, signed up for a beta key ages ago but never got one and now theyre going to give some away from fileplanet so hopefully i'll get one of those!
Playing the Forums because I hope to find a good MMO...or maybe help peoples get a few things right, such as a non-raiding focus.
I am playing Medieval Total War, the original, because it is better IMO to the latest versions, on the GBT aspect. When I play the 2nd or Rome, it is a LOT heavier, and just as easy. Simple is good. More complex can be fun, but it depend on how it is done. In the case of Medieval, the first was superior. Individually speaking, each feature in the second is superior, but overall, the first is better.
If I would make the 3rd, I would make an hybrid between the 2nd and the first, see, the full details would be at start, but once you reach an IMPERIAL size, I would switch to a province setting and a clearer map. When a player is running 20 provinces, I don't see the point anymore to pinpoint precisely where the armies are, just the province is enough at that stage...while if you have only 5 provinces, it is good to have a richer experience, with precise spots on the maps. Selecting the cities for production was also a LOT better in the first, in the 2nd it is tiresome. I would keep the religious and lineage from the 2nd however, and the little missions as well...on sea I would keep it as it is on the 2nd. Then, once the basic is reworked, I would try to add some sweet changes. I would incorporate some ressources in a way similar to Civilisations games. I would also merge some provinces at key moments. For example, France could start with 30 provinces, in the middle of the game be about 10-15 and in the late been only 5-6 provinces. Such a system just require you to have different border highlight so it is CLEAR which provinces will merge together, have some rules for when provinces who merges are occupied by opposed forces. It would bring interesting stuff as for example, the British islands could start with only 14 provinces and end up with 4 or 5, making them almost as rich as France in the end of medieval era, yet easy to defend, less merging and so on, so they are interesting in the long run, even if at the start they may be quite poor and relatively well defended (Wales, Irish, Ireland). I would like to add the VASSAL, also a LIMIT to your growth capacity, in order to make a game balancing where none exist. I think it would be funnier if you can't conquer the whole map by the end of the game (or barely do it), it would need rethinking however on how exactly you add this growth limit, but it would be quite interesting as you would find yourself having to deal with an increasing amount of enemies without the possibility to conquer them all, internal structures, communications or something among these lines...this serie lack GAME BALANCING a lot, it is too often won or lost quite early and playing on is pointless...GB has to keep the game interesting and make you win as soon as the game is won.

I'm playing WoW with my lil brother at times. I'm also doin some PS2 a lot cause my girlfriend got me it for christmas.
I might start playing EVE since I am working now and I can pay for it. Last I played was the free trial about a year ago or so and it seems that the game takes a while to get into so I never really could enjoy it since it was only for 14 days. Oh I get payed today too! ha
Current: Puzzle Pirates Waiting: SWTOR,Aion, CO Played: AC, WoW, SB, EVE
recently voyage century, somehow its got me interested for more than a few days. Nothing on the left has done that, other than WoW and Eve, which I quit after a while.

Currently Playing Dungeon Runners closed beta, Cabal's closed beta just finished was playing that, Playing WOW, but I am currently Active in Korean ROSE online (Gf plays it), but in a few days I am going to pick up a copy of Guild Wars and ArchLord(went f2p).
Right now I'm playing Phantasy Star Universe. I'm only checking it out from curiosity since one of my friends was playing it, but I'm having a lot of fun.
I think it has the most fun combat I've ever played in an mmo, those 9-hit combos with area damage feel really satisfying. What I dislike the most about it is that it's all instanced. I'd love it if it was all a persistent world where you could just run around and explore.

Im thinking getting a subscription to WW2 online, i've been researching it for quite a while.
I was playing FFXI and PSU in 2006, but got bored of both.
Now, it's just Beta's and single player games
Waiting for something fresh to arrive on the MMO scene...
I also installed KotOR and KotOR2 again...
