Now I've played Shadowbane before (at the time they started making it free of charge). I mostly stayed on the noob island testing out the different classes. To me it was a pretty fun game, but I stopped and lost this game out of sight.
I'm thinking of starting again and got a couple of questions:
- I'm more pve minded than pvp minded, is there room for this kind of playstyle?
- What is up with the all the different factions? It's pretty confusing. Is there any way to stay neutral?
- How soloable is this game?

- the pve isn't that good in this game. But there is more ways to make a character than any other game. I don't pvp much either. I spent most of my time trying out new characters. I have made hundreds of characters, all very different from each other. I also spend a lot of time hunting disciplne runes and selling them.
- you don't have to join a nation, but it makes things easier. They help you level, and you need to be in a nation if you want to fight in group pvp battles. Some people don't join a nation though. They just run around and solo pk.
- This game is very easy to solo in. They made the mobs a lot weaker recently. So you can level very easily by yourself. Of course if you solo, you will want a character that has track, so you won't be pk'ed.
