best dragons in an MMO

in The Pub at MMORPG.COM

what MMO do you think had the best version of Dragons/ wyrms/ wyverns in it, which game made you fear them the most?

IMO it was FFXI, the dragons there where huge, and the area's around them fit them perfectly.

    UO, because they're were iddy piddy, pretty much the size of a human.

    Lineage 2 by far. All other dragons are puppy's compared to Valakas Imo

    Lineage 2, Anthras, a raid dragon that was actually a challenge to defeat (also wasn't in an instance) Some official lineage servers still haven't killed him yet.

    Everquest had a bunch of cool dragons.

    Just from the Monster Manuals and the Draconomicon, they are already ahead!  RaR!

     

    The Miniatures figurines are already cool, just want to see them live!

    FFXI has a few pretty amazing dragons but that screen shot earlier in the thread was pretty hot.

    how long take to kill L2 dragons u asked?....forever and a day lol...i quit when i was 1st to reach lvl65 when L2 1st came out so there wasnt no dragons..but i figure i should take a long tyme and hundreds of players...ggthnx

    I think Antharas the land dragon is my favourite in L2. Valakas is cool and all but fire is just so.. already done, kinda thing.



    I can't wait to see the water and wind dragons.

    EQ had some serious dragons and they got better and harder taking hours to down or days at the end.

    Gaaah! Gameloading, stop posting those pictures. You are reminding me of how much fun I had during my month trial of that game. I do not have enough time (or know enough people in game anymore) to re-activate. Please stop tempting me...

    There are a lot of games with great dragons. I loved the ones in FFXI (and the fact that you got to fight your first one at like level 25) and even in EQOA (very low graphics quality) the dragons were a breathtaking sight. I never saw a dragon in DAoC, in fact I have never even seen a screenshot of one, I'll have to look it up.

    You deserve a slap for suggesting that. Sure DAoC is the greatest MMO of all time, but the dragons sure were sucky.
