My Comp Specs. Help!

I'm looking to upgrade or buy a new computer to play vanguard. Here are my specs. Can anyone please please reccommend a course of action? Should I buy a whole new computer or just cobble together new parts on my current system? I have about a 1000$ to spend.

Keeping in mind you have 1k$

Decent case ( one dosnt have to have those pretty blue lights on it ) about 60$

im not sure what Wat your power supply is but your gona need at least a 450w you might even be able to salvage the 1 you have.not sure price on those now days.

get 2 gigs of ram about 200-300 $ depending on what brand mhz etc reccomend at least 333mhz DDR2 as a min.

Keeping in mind you can recycle your mon ,keyboard/mouse = 0 $

gigabyte board with a 3.8 duel core about 300- 350 $ dont rem the price when i checked.

decent video card i go with Gefore 7900 256 about  300- 350$ or above. the card you have is ok but if you want to be able to see 10 feet in front of you in most games now days i would at least hit the 7 thousands .

those are the base components you need for a new tower mos of that other stuff are ust sys info m8. Might have to buy a new copy of windows to unless you have a disk or u might just want to wait on vista

total: $1095 you could prob do cheaper if you look for deals on the HD and the RAm or find a cheaper mobo
