PvP Nightmare

I have a lvl 30 NE Hunter and am ready to de spec him for Soloing and spec him for PvP.  I think it would be best.   problem is.  I dont know what would be best for PvP.  Right now Im speced BM.  That from what I was told and kinda figured out by myself was a soloer set up.  Any advice here?

I'm not completely familiar with hunters, however I can tell you it would probably not be advised to respec this close to the expansion.  Wait for BC and just focus on leveling up and getting all your gear your going to want for when it comes out.  WoW is gonna be turned upside down in BC and a respec this close to its release might be less than rewarding.  Whatever you choose, good luck
  • You should engage in pvp at the following levels 19, 29, 39, 49, 59, and 60. Please get your character to one of those levels before you pvp.

I don't think BM is a good spec for PvP, BM is good for soloing in PvE as you let your pet tank, and gets lots of aggro while you just stand there "pew pew'ing" from a distance.

I've never played a Hunter before, so i can't really tell you much more than that. I will say that i've fought a Hunter that was basically melee and dodge/parried almost everything i threw at him, which as a Rogue was really really annoying. Oh, and be sure to get a pet that has a very fast attack speed, they're awesome in PvP against casters.

That may be the safe route, but real pvpers can do good at almost any level depending on certain classes of course. I mean at level 53 i was out damaging and getting more death blows than the whole party and If I wasnt, I was in the top 3 most of the time. And of course Im nto special, many people can do this. But if you are pvp handicapped.....yeah stick to leveling to the top of the bracket before doing bg's.

Anyway, BM is a viable enough spec for pvp, though, more so at 60. Just depends on what you're looking to do. If you're a more defensive player, BM might work better for you. If you're a more offensive player, then MM spec might be a better idea. Either way, with a hunter you should do ok. And, yes, you can pvp in the bgs at 30, but know that you will mostly be facing people 9 levels higher than you, and most likely twinked out the wazoo as well.

Spec to BM, get to 60, and then you can spec pretty much whatever you want...BM can pwn up a warlock like nobody's business, but are weaker against classes like warriors, so it's your call

Your argument is like a two legged dog with an eating disorder...weak and unbalanced.
