People said that if I get the Fae expansion I get the game and all the other expansions with it. Is that true? If it is not, what can I buy that would include all of those or will I need to buy all separately?

If you buy the retail box DVD you get all expansions and the original game, including all enhancements.  If you buy online and download, you only get the newest expansion and its enhancements.

Yeah that one.  I'm sure a retail store in your area has them also.

For 39.99 I went ahead and bought the Boxed expansion  even though I had a copy of the origninal game laying around.   Just seemed simpler (and cheaper) to do so.   40 bucks w/ a free month for everything current is a great deal to me.

Another note to anyone reading this forum.   I played this game and HATED it when it came out 3 years ago (its been 3 years right?).  About 5 of my buddies and I from work anxiously awaited this game.   I pre-ordered the game months in advance and got my copy two weeks after launch (I ended up just buying a boxed set on opening day then using the unopened "pre-ordered" copy with the receipt to obtain my refund).    Of the 5 guys who started.... all of us quit before lvl 12 in disgust.   The remaining hold out made it to lvl 28 before he too quit.

Well, three years later after reading some good feedback on the progress of this game, and being INCREDIBLY bored myself with games that I had already played (to death) I decided to play EQ2 again... fully expecting to hate it (again) and uninstall it (again).   When you are bored out of your mind you do craaaaazy things.    Well ... so far I'm loving it.    I rolled a Gnome Berserker and started him in Fayville (forget the real name of the place).    The constant zoning has been seriously reduced in that zone.   I can now assist strangers without getting thier permission.    I have a nice little apartment and I've figured out how to use my bulletin board and the merchant.   I'm still fuzzy on how the heroic opportunity thing works and also comfuzzled about the achievement point trees.

In summary... I LOATHED THIS GAME... and now enjoy it very much.   If you hated it too, might give it another go!
