What are the chances of getting into a Beta?

I was wondering how many members are currently signed up for mmorpg.com so I can imagine the chance of being picked for a beta entry here. Anyone have those figures?

    Depends on which Beta.

Any beta, I figure most mmorpg members sign up for every beta entry that comes along. I guess I'd also factor in that their all active members too. I was just looking for a general number.

I don't know how many members but I 1st signed up when MMORPG started the Ryzom contest. And I lucked out and won a beta account for it (my 1st contest on here and won).

Well, last nights RYL contest had 7000 entries according to the MMORPG staff. Considering that they sent out 2000 emails, that's close to a 1 in 3 chance. But that number does not also count the bonus entries for the number of days you have been on since you entered the contest. On top of that, it was one of the smaller contests entry wise.

Everyone has equal chance if they follow the rules provided by each contest. I've managed to win 2 since I joined Aug.2003 so I don't think thats too bad.  The more people that sign up for contest though the harder lol, but its good for this site.  They enjoy new members and this site is always updated on alot of good news.
