Resolution Problem

I've had a weird problem with RYL and I was wondering if anybody else is experiencing it. I downloaded the client, updated it, and got on...and not only is it 800x600, but the windows taskbar down at the bottom covers up some things. Now, I read from the website that 800x600 is the only resolution available for now, but how do you get rid of the taskbar showing up? Even setting it to hide itself dosent work?

Oh, and I get FPS issues, even though I'm running on 512mb of RAM with a GeForce 4
