When are they comming?!

Is it just me or is anyone really excited about all the top tier MMOs currently in development. It seems that every week you hear about a new project going into development, yet in 2006 we saw very few MMOs released. I'm just wondering if all these games are going to flood this year, or are many projects (Star Trek, Stargate, Warhammer)  going to slip into 08/09, or never make it to release at all? (Darkfall)

Warhammer is quite serious and well on the way.  Mythic is a serious group of devs, they put Imperator on the ice for it, and this alone must increase their resolve a LOT.

 

Stargate, this one has my highest hope, so...*crossing fingers*  The ZEB is there, nothing can go wrong...it will just be that good!  As long as he knows what peoples like me want rather than focus too much on what we say!  (well, about raiding what I say make sense, but if you go too much on the details, you will eventually get something quite hardcore by listening too much to me, even if I try to make it casual friendly approach)

 

STO?  I don't care either way.  An additionnal game is always good for the players in generals.

WAR - Looks great, and I'll probably try it. Hopefully it offers something more than the usual MMORPG.



STO - Will definetly be pushed back into 08'. I am expecting a Q2 08' release, with beta starting Q4 07'.



Chronicles of Spellborn - This is the game I am currently looking forward to most. Unique storyline, off-genre fantasy game with no Orcs or Elves, and a unique style of gameplay. Hopefully it does not disappoint.



And then the others...

Some look good some look meh, but overall I think it'll be a pretty decent year.

 Warhammer, Conan and Spellborn  look pretty good so far
