Item Mall Game?

is this an item mall game and if not how are they going to support it?

    There will be an item mall for the Akklaim servers. They will be free to play, with advertising and an item mall.

    It is stil unknown for the PW servers, it is presumed that they will be pay to play.

    Why do people put this into there games??   In game shops that you buy with $$$$ is stupid in all aspects.  There isn't a pt to it, oooooo i can get a useful item right away to lvl and blah blah blah.  Toataly Useless

    They do this to make money. It seems to be effective.

    agreed...its just like ebaying for items but instead the company supports it whereas people in ebay could get themselves banned IF the company of other games actually want to enforce their rules...

       Normally the items in Item Mall dont cause imbalance. Only people like Gpotatoes seem to have a knack for breaking the game by making the items sellable to other players. Most times the items are pretty much fluff or bonus stuff.

          I dont trust Acclaim , if you read there plans for MMORPGs design on Game developers sites they seem as fishy as Codemasters and thier staff , at least for 2 Moons and 9Dragons is pretty crappy. I wager than will be going done the sad path of being as bad Codemasters' CSR in time. (anyone who plays the US version can see a train wreck in slow motion.)

             Acclaim seems to be taking a page out of the playbook of Gpotatoes server handbook. My brother started on US server switched to PW servers. PW seems to have thier act together in 9Dragons. Carpe Diem though , its a shaky thing there , its seems like a gimped game...
