if your into poor graphics and a immature community you could go to runescape.com or try out some games from the game list

World of Warcraft - has improved a lot with the addition of honor system allowing players to earn end game loot from pvp. So, you no longer have to raid for end game loot if you dont want to. I enjoyed the pvp and quests will probably give burning crusade a try

EvE - I'm getting ready to give this one a try. Looks very good and original. you can even train skillz offline. players can build space stations, titans, and outfit ships, and has really good PvP from what I've seen on my friends screen. Its a true MMO really

Guild Wars - great value for the money I played this for a long time. many say its more of an online RPG because the PvE/towns are instanced (you still see a lot of players in town). Really, I dont care since my main interest is PvP. So I dont care for all that gay stuff much (quests). However, I still took 3 of my toons through the PvE right fast along the main storyline I had fun. Had a lot of fun doing guild vs guild. has something for everyone here

City of Heroes - a good game to mess around with. Its a nice simple MMO that gets away from itemazation. heavily instanced PvE though which can be really good and/or bad. You'll never find another dude that looks like you most likely. The leveling system is sorta gimped though- you cannot respec out of powers very easily. The leveling system is not really well designed at all you'll always run into healers that cant rez, tanks that cant hold aggro (didnt get Taunt), and healers that cant heal cause they picked a diff power like jump kick lol. Still, it was a fun little MMO. I liked that it doesnt rely on loot. however, at end game, if you care bout end game- well at this point you need to group up and farm the end game instances for end game enhancements. There is only one end game raid instance though. PvP heavily unbalanced and really messed up but still fun. nice little MMO to mess around with for a bit you might dig it if you can look pass the flaws

Try EVE. I have been, on and off, an EVE addict since 2003. Have quit the game, because it took too much time from my life, and returned again. So far I can not find any better game than EVE.

Just remember, it will take time, patience and desire to learn about the game. EVE has a very steep learning curve and allot of new players give up before they discover 1/1000th of what EVE has to offer.

I wish you all the best in finding a game, even if it is not EVE.

thanks guys for all your posts, just found a game called 'Turf Battles' does anyone know if it's any good?

Turf Battles falls along the same lines as all the other MMORPGs you've played.  Personally, I'd second the recommendation of EVE and Guild Wars, as they're both quite fun.  In Guild Wars' case, having an actual plot was refreshing.

Really you're the only one who can pick what's right for you, so dabble around in trials and the like to find a game that suits you.
