Can't play it..

Maybe I can get help from you guys with this. I recently bought the Vana'Diel Collection to try out the game as I never have before. It's already been far too complicated to just play the game, and it seems to send a bad message. I installed everything, did Add member account, then tried to log in, my member account works fine but the same password I used for my member and what I thought playonline account are the same, I try to log in and it says it's the wrong password or ID. So I figure I'll try the join playonline option, maybe I missed something. But any time I do that I get the message "The network is busy or there is no response from the server. Please try again later or verify that cables, networking devices and network systems are properly configured"



What am I doing wrong here? I'm on a LAN, I'm obviously online, and I'm using a router so I can user my printer as well. So what's wrong with this?

    I THINK I saw something about a registration server maintenance today. I tend to close those info boxes as quick as possible but Im retty sure it said  jan 8. If thats the case you prob cant register a new user/POL ID/whatever.





    edit: yup, between 8-10 jan so Im afraid you'll have to wait a couple days.

    Bad timing on my part on when to buy the game I suppose. Oh well, atleast it's not broken like I thought it was.

    So I managed to get to actually register the account, but once I get to the putting in the credit card stuff it says the server is busy. is this the same problem?

    Yes, it says anything that requires validation or something (which your credit card would) will be down.
