Age of Conan wont be good, might do well in terms of sales but as we all know games like The Sims and Bratz: diamons forever sell well but are they good? This isn't meant to be a flame thread, altho it'll probally turn out that way.

I've judged my views on gameplay videos/screenshots and the FaQ.

For years now Ive seen the Sims collection amongst the top 10 of gaming sales charts. You ask us, "but are they good?" Well hell, if they are going so well in sales, I'm pretty sure they are doing something right.



And Im pretty sure your entire post accumulates to your opinion. Exactly that. Tell that to the huge fan base that has flocked to support Funcom in developing this game.

 In my opinion, I think the game will do fantastic. The single player part is a pretty good idea. it will cut down on lag when theres like a million new chars spawning in one place. The movies look amazing as well. Will be a breath of fresh air. Seems lately, MMO have just been clones of each other.

this game looks good (not awsom crazy) and the reason for that are

1. it feels like evil is out and trying to take over ur small body's, but u also need another side like evil vs good or something but once u play this game and have no life u'll become one with the game and soon u'll be the same mood as the game

2. its still in development i believe and they have alot to improve also it looks gind of done

(i am saying this because some people like rainbows and happy places and don't get me wrong i don't atleast not the rainbow part but neither do i like too much evil but my friend who started this thread looks like he does)

 Judging from screenshots, video's and information I've read this game looks cool . Some real nice idea's and the game is aimed at older gamers. Don't know what the threadstarter saw but i would reccomend him go look at the official sight, also vids on Youtube.com from last years game conventions.

 I love the idea of blood money and large scale battles in units - could / should be cool considering the big $ backing it.

Oh no I think hes right.  Lets go back to the basic same MMO I like those better where every MMO is the same except the theme.   Age of Conan looks to risky to be good I mean huge scaled battles = chaos   and the graphics look to good I dont think my computer can handle them.....

saying this game is no good is liike saying the NGEs for SWG was a great idea  yeah we will see when WOW takes turns for the worst and Vanguard is a dump  this game is the only thing trying something new and all the others are just clones of the one before it

this game is real  no cartoon graphics or sloppy characters    no ocrs or elfs   just humans fighting tooth and nail for claim to a border fort and to see who is top in the arena to see who is the strongest and the wisest on the feild of battle

Ok  i really dislike the fact that people come from out of the blue and say this game or that game is crap. First off these games are the creations of many peoples ideas,that work hard to make these games so let's give them a little credit for that atleast. From what i can see from this game it will be a welcome change to the mmo's we have now. I mean first off you don't have a bunch of races to choose between like elfs,orcs,goblins and stuff like that. then from what i saw from other sites out there can you start off  offline for the about the first 20  levels is a really good idea. And the change in the combat system is a plus no more point and click on mob start fighting. And so many other cool stuff this games has in it. I mean i don't know many games where you can do to a tavren and get into a drunken bwal!!

I think this game will be one to keep an eye on

Agree!!! i mean i couldent agree more.... a more "realistic" mmo (not entirely but alot more then most usualy mmos).  More interacive combat, NO ELVES.... if this mmo game dosent turn out half way desent no mmos will....
