Thinking about getting UO

I have one question tho!

Can I dl all the expansions or do i have to but them at the store?   I ask this because I noticed taht I can Dl The Gold Edition as free trail and gold most the time means comes with all expansions.

You can download the latest version of the software, but you have to pay to get access to the expansions.

Now is a good time to get into the game.  You can get the 9th anniversary pack for $20.  Gets you all the expansions in one shot and some gifts that you can sell off to get your gold flow going. 

I just returned after 5 yrs.  Love it, tons to do and the community is still top notch.

though I would go the route of buying trhe 20$ box. If I were gonna start with nothing I would buy 4 boxes just so I can get leggins of embers, samurai helm, and holy sword, then ill sell the one extra token  so I can have money tfor insurance and items (holy sword and leggins are blessed so you dont have to insure them)

    Well you get  9  tokens per box so if your purchased 4 boxes you would be swimming in the tokens   Great time to jump aboard the UO ship though  as there is a great new graphic revamp in the works  set to debute at the end of January at the UO town hall meeting, a release date is not set yet  but  it must be closely following that

Oh what? I thought they were doing it like the 7th annv box. I didn't buy the new box because i already have all of those items but wow 9 tokens for 1 box the new devs are already outdoing the past devs.

And, that is exactly what UO has been turned into, from a dangerously exciting virtual world with cloth maps, pewter pins and free expansions, to just another reason to buy cardboard and virtual boxes from Electronic Arts.
