A guilds needs

Frankly, I think it's ridiculous for guilds to require certain amounts of playing time from each member.   Also, requiring many different types of restrictions and all sorts of rules.  A guild should be there to serve it's members and not the other way around.  Long as its members act like adults, respecting each other and every one else and be helpful to one another I think this should be the main requirements. and concern.

Everything else will naturally fall into place.

I share your dislike of the kind of guild that has lots of requirements, but I understand just as well what the reason for it is. People who play the game for bragging rights want to maximize their opportunities for achieving things to brag about. It's entirely reasonable for them to be exclusive with respect to the people who can help them. As long as I'm not forced to PvP against them, I can co-exist in the same game world with them.
