I downloaded the trial and played for the afternoon into the evening.

I'll give it a shot. I was a DnD player long ago and have only played NWN1 when it came out.  Stormreach was released and like most other mmo's I wait for a trial. Most of the mmo trials I have played fail to hook me for one reason or another, and I don't usually purchase, with a few exceptions.

I am buying DDO.

After reading a lot of the posts on this board and only lending credence to maybe 15% of the negative posts. To those other 85% posts/posters stuck on being overly critical, untruthful, and other wise malicious with an axe to grind over something they don't like about the game; stop looking back, it's the only way to move forward.

It's great you are giving DDO a try...I think it is a great game...I have two dedicated groups that play DDO together with our characters created for that group and that group only...one group meets once a week and the other meets upto twice a week...great way to explore all Stormreach has to offer in my opinion...
