How is the Arena ranking? Good/Bad?

Long-story short:  I quit WOW ages ago because of the pewpy honor system.



Do the arenas improve on the PvP ranking?  I've read that there is no "grind" -- a dozen or two games a week, if you win, are enough to keep you high in the rankings.



Does this hold up?



Please let me know!  Thinking of hoping into WOW again with the x-pac, but if the ranking sucks, I think I'll stick with EVE (sandbox PvP FTW?)

They removed the PvP rankings so u now buy a specific item for a certain amount of honor. The arenas I have played doesn't give honor, but that's because I haven't played the rated ones yet, because u must be lvl 70 to play those. Altho I'm not sure about if u will get honor from the arenas, but u will atleast get a rank by playing the arenas, and when u raise in arena rank u will be able to buy the new PvP gear.
