You guys think this PC run AoC on high without DirectX 10?

Sure you can run it everything on HIGH. It doesnt matter dx10 or 9. But with a dx9 card you just cant use the dx10 features in-game. Im going to wait untill the dx10 cards get a little cheaper. Thats my advice to you too

Is that your current computer with the A8N motherboard or are you looking to buy it. If its the one you have then its fine. However, don't buy it. Get an Intel Core2Duo system like the one mentioned above this post. Or better yet wait till Age of Conan comes closer to release when there are more cards and motherboards to support Vista DX10.

Im actually a little mad at myself cause I just built a $500 AMD system and it doesn't really perform as great as I would like. I am just glad that since I couldn't get the parts I wanted I cheaped out on the motherboard and processor, $100 for both; and really cheaped out on the OS.

I highly reccomend as well going with an Intel core 2 duo system. The most important thing will be waiting UNTIL AoC has an official launch date. The last thing you want to do is buy a system now that will probably work well when it launches supposedly in the spring and then have Funcom push it back to the fall (although I do have great faith in Funcom and their devs, I have to be realistic to the MMO enviroment of push backs!). I really would wait until they slap a set date on the game before spending a lot of money on a new system!
