I've been hearing a lot of bad about this game, and I gave it a shot. Honestly I can see it topping PotBS.

PotBS has a stronger graphics engine, but other than what i've read they are pretty much equal. Plus this game has a huge variety of things to do.

So many things, and its free, and its fun.

I'd play this over PotBS who wants to pay so much money for a game just as good when you have something already made and well polished, ive had no glitches so far.

I can't figure out if you can run in a window though.

       Its all really dependant on how you want this genre of mmorpg to be delivered. VC is wonderful. I totally enjoy it and plan to play it for years to come. I also plan to play Potbs. The main reason is Potbs tends to be more historically accurate. Especially when it comes to ships. Theres a vastly more detailed world. Many of the mechanics are what youd expect in a new game as well. Not to say VC doesnt have its perks as well. I simply feel like a more light hearted game at the moment. Well anycase when both games are out, expect me in both of them.

    This is the main reason I would choose Potbs over Vc. The devs in Potbs seem to have made their homework. Just look at their site and browse through the different ships. It feels to me that Potbs has a bit more depth than Vc.
