Is there a free trial for Final Fantasy XI? The game looks good but i wanna try it before i go spending money.

MMORPGs that have free downloadable trials are usually dying.

you get a 30 day free trial (the first month) and then after that you have to pay. You have to have a credit card to activate the trial incase you go over the 30 days.

At least thats what they say on the site.. who knows... I don't get the game till next week.

Was that a thought I just had, or and echo of a thought I was thinking of having?

Me too! I even made a whole new comp so I could run it good. LOL it might have to be one of the biggest dissapointments of my life. Second to when I wanted to get a dog for my birthday when I was ten but still SWG was a huge dissapointment.

I would try it out...and cancel it in half a month if you dont like it..it wont charge your card

That's a 50 dollar "free trial". Also, AO is very much alive and offers a free trial. That might be because of its horrible launch more than anything, though.

or a $100 dollar free trial with the PS2 versian, but you do get the HD and stuff with that so i suppose it kinda makes in worthwhile.... if ur gonna utalise it to its full potential.

how sucky is this... my step dad gets back yesturday, my mum asks him for the game for me.. and he says "i'll give it when i see fit" - it was supposed to be a 20th bday present back in febuary...

he's a complete assbandit, this is just one little thing out of many.. but when i spent all yesturday looking forward to the game and to get told that.. well i put my fist through my cubbord door again, hehe.

If it had been anyone else saying that my reaction might not have been so bad.. but well.. there is alot of evil history there with that ginger tosser.
