How are the new updates

Hi, I have been playing through the single player story for about a month now (on chapter 10 right now) and am enjoying it. I have read all the bad reviews for game and at the start the online wasn't worth it. But now I see that sega is really pushing out the updates now and was wondering how the updates are and more speificly how are the storyline updates (please do not try to give away spoilers) Thanks
