Reaching Exalted with main Factions for Alliance

TrellotTrellot Member Posts: 53

Hi all,

I was told, not here, but some other forum which I'm not remembering right now, I'm in several, that it was impossible to reach Exalted with the main factions of the Alliance simply by doing the old greyed-out quests lying about the lands of Azeroth.  Well, I'm here to say that this isn't true.  I reached Exalted with Darnassus as a human warrior the other day and all I did was search out and complete all the Night Elf starting quests in Teldrasil, Darkshore etc. and see them to completion.  I was rewarded between 150 to 385 rep points per quest and, although it took me several weeks to do all the quests, I reached Exalted and now I'm working on Ironforge, Gnomer Exiles and Stormwind.  Funny that I haven't reach Exalted with my own faction yet, lol!  But my goal is to get to Exalted with all of them so we'll see how I do.

yeah, geez. you human. you got diplomacy, that is what? 25% more reputation? but the ones that are NOT humans...? i do not know if you can or cannot, just pointing out that a HUMAN succeding doesn't mean other races would too.

About 4 weeks ago the Rep. for standard quests was increased enormously (typically from 100 to 250 for example). There's also now all the Exodar quests (which will also ripple over to other factions). Accordingly it will be quiet easy to achieve exalted with all 5 factions now.

For humans it's 10% extra. And other races can succed. On my NE I has managed to get exalted with IF (ez mode with AV, but anyways). ANd u can always hand in different clothes for the rep.

Huh, I never thought about the diplomacy thing.  Then perhaps it isn't possible for non-human players.  That would be too bad.

Good.  I'm glad to hear that a non-human character has also done this.

yeah, it seems really possible, with no problem. It is really good enough. At least with draenei as they get awesome reputation from the get go. I got off from bloodmyst isle being Honored with everybody and revered with exodar, i went to the NE lands and started doing their quests as i want a tiger for mount, not that sorry excuse of an elephant the poor draenei get.

Now i am doing ashenvale quests but i just need 5000 rep to get exalted, that will be done with no problem at all. if not in ashenvale, in desolace. surely before level 40 as i just need about 20 quests to do it and i still have some ashenvale quests to do.

They changed the system.  Prior to TBC, you couldn't get rep or atleast very little rep, doing old grey quests.  Now you get full rep.
