    i dont know where u getting this from - but the game is 100% crap - which is why they had to make it free - since no1 will pay for it

    im afraid i have to disagree with you OP.



    The game is quite awful...



    It just 'looks' terrible and 'feels' terrible.



    It just dosnt' run smoothly, its like the game developers didn't even bother to make a game. Simply put some modules into an engine and copied off some existing script. There's absolutely no polish to it.



    And that's why its f2p.

    As far free games go I guess this one is worth a try... but don't expect anything grandeur.  Me personally didn't like it one bit. I got really impressed by the screenshots but I am not sure why, but in game I felt like someone has lied to me. It didn't feel at all right.

    And as for the thread-starter. Please, refrain from calling people names just because they disagree. If you don't want people to have another opinion than yourself, don't post here... there will ALWAYS be people that think/feel/see things from a different perspective.

    Deal with it or stop posting alltogether.

    as you can see from the replies the game must be good if guys that post that many replies in forums dont like it, its cos they spend all their time in here trying to be cool by flaming games.



    if this game doesnt run smoothly then you should really upgrade your pc, i play in 1680 by 1050 and get uber fps but then again im not poor.



    try it for yourselves, dont listen to random forum spammers.

    This game was pretty good, until Private Servers were developed, after lvl 20 the game really kicks in.

    I'd try it, but try the free american version, for RYL1, and RYL2, if you like Medevil, and fast-paced fighting, this game is for you

    This game is just a mindless hack'n'slash grindfest, diablo2 style. Cant see a free game having massive content. I tried this game, played 20 or so levels, experienced nothing new, just same grinding of mobs.



    PS: isnt this the game where DEVs promised to pay 1mil real life cash to the winner of something just to cancel that due to "hacker activities"?



    EDIT: To OP. all the people posting above your last comment (except one person) created their account in 2005. I hardly call those people random forum spammers, unless you count yourself one too.

    I am the type of player where I like to do everything and anything from time to time.

    i dont think this run of ryl was so bad esp for a free came, the running can be a lil twitchy, but i thought it was otherwise fun.

    I never bought the game when it was released.. was going to, but some I chose some other pointless mmo.

     

    So uh, the other day I saw an ad for RYL 2.. I said "why not?".

    Downloaded it.. started it up.. totally loved the very first 30 seconds, the FPS or Mouse view option.

    And then I jumped off a huge tower and didn't get hurt. And then I stayed under water for a few minutes and didn't drown. And then I ran around counting all the glitches and unpolished areas in town, and literally people, LOST COUNT.

     

    It's like one of those games kids get out of Cereal boxes.

     

    Some people may enjoy the game, maybe they can see past the un-textured, boxy world. Or the lack of mob2mob scenery. Or even the fact that the game world is too big for the content.        I , for one, could not.

    Sorry to make such a cheap shot, I just have to say this theard has "shill" written all over it.  It's not so much the fact the OP likes, well really, really likes, a MMO of somewhat dubious quality; it's more due to how the first post is written.  It simply reads more like an ad than a fan sticking up for his favorite game.  Even this thread's title is very ad-like.  Combine these factors with an account made 10 days ago with this thread being the his only posts it's hard not to jump to certain conclusions.

    If the OP is not a shill than I do agologise for the presumption.   Regardless, he should be made aware, and hopefully now is aware,  that he's coming across as a viral marketer.
