Psionicist fun?

Hey! I haven't had the time to test the game yet, but I would like to hear what are Psionicists like in this game.



I really liked enchanter in EverQuest so will it be anything like that? From what I understand reading the forums and sites Psionicist are the best crowd control class in the game.



I don't really have interest playing other classes. I just want to know will I be able to re-live the EQ feeling of being that crazy crowd control dude in this game. Saving the group from almost impossible situations. Highly wanted in groups that plan on going to nasty hectic areas of the game.



Do they have these abilities:



Stunn and AoE Stunn?

AoE Mez?

Debuffs (slow, resist, snare/root etc)?

Charm?

Pets?

And how about their DPS?



Also any comments on how they perform in PVP would be appreciated! Thanks.

They have mezz and debuffs. They're not the best CC in the game, Bards are. Psi got nerfed big time in one of the patches back.



Their dps is sufficient at best.

I have a lvl 10 PSI in the beta, umm it's ok, not the best class in the game. But i think they are still going to revamp them soon...

I think its a very unique class. and the inquisitor will be based off psionics

im thinking races that can become psionicists should become inquisitors

ive also noticed every patch has inquisitor info.  im hoping it wont be too long
