in The Chronicle

Has mmocenter finally folded up? I tried going to thier websight at www.mmocenter.com  and it's closed.

    One can only hope. Curiously, as I type, I am seeing the "Flyff" logo beside The Chronicle header at the top At any rate, Here's hoping these clowns get removed from here soon. Oh, and that reminds me! Gotta add one more game to the sig

    curious Zorvan what happens when you try to go to the mmocenter websight.Because I just get a white page. Or anyone else that can confirm this.

    Depends on how you define "winning". DnL scores as the biggest all around scam, however even Farlan managed to put some type of game out. MMOcenter/Rapid Reality/The Chronicle take the award for most laughable scam attempt (yeah, I know. CG will say they weren't scamming anybody.) Honestly, CG was the most humorous part of this fiasco ( and that's not a compliment).

    Maybe they finally realized that the few suckers they managed to get to play Endless Ages wouldn't be enough to fund EA2, and jumped ship. One CAN hope

    If you goto the registry data for mmocenter.com  you will see that Adam Ghetti is the tech assistand AND that the site was last updated on Jan 18, 2007.  Make me wonder if he had something to do with it.

    Yah, the Ghetti's are long gone...but apparently still up to some tricks...at least I hope thats whats going on. We'll soon see, I guess.

    Well, the RR site is still up, but as has been the issue, there's no info on it. Just have to wait and see if it's a screw-up or if thier taking down the mmocenter site.

    1. What is a "Ghetti"?

    2. How do you even loose a site in the first place? (Other than not paying domain-name or forgetting to re-register the name).

    Thanks, CG. I figured it was something like that. Despite all my anger, I'm still behind you guys...though I'm really just around for "The Chronicle" still. I'll wait.

    Just a friendly piece of advice regarding you waiting for The Chronicle: It will never be released so prepare for a letdown. They never had a design doc... they never had a game designer... just some art assets. If you feel like im not telling the thruth and say RR stand for quality and intelligence... just look up the old "Machines" video they released long ago... See that... then you wont wait for the Chronicle no more... why? you just have to see for yourself :)

    The Ghetti's are the previous owners/managers of the site, after a little shaking up, new management came in but it seems the Ghetti's still have something to say about it.

    Of course, professionals would have foreseen this possibility, and re-made their own site with no access possible for old managers when they were canned. Guess I just have strange ideas.

    Exactly CG, I'm starting to wonder WTF myself...

     

    C'mon man, I don't think there are many left with a preorder date older than mine, except for you. I've never spoken Ill of this game or the fact that we got duped with TC, which is THE ONLY reason many of us gravitated to RR. Seriously, you have code monkeys there... is it that f'ing hard to get someone to brush up on some php and get a forums board attached to the *NEW* RR site?
