That's about the same as my old system, which I just upgraded, and better than my GF's old system. Your graphics card is better than my Radeon 9600 was i think, and certainly better than her GeForce 5200.

We had no problems whatsoever playing EQ2 on "Balanced" settings so I would imagine you'd be fine in all practical senses. If you mean can you put on all the bells and whistles, then no. I've now got Dual Core 6600, 2 gig ram and a GeForce 7900GS and I still stutter in Extreme Quality. Runs in High Quality beautifully though.

your system is better than mine befor i upgraded

I played eq2 for over a year with a amd 64 2800 (1.8 ghz) 512 ram and a fx 5700 (i think thats the name ) so you will be able to run on balanced no prob, alot of the people that say it performs teribly

this i believe is because the want it to run on maxed but its not ment to be run that hi!!! which is when why people complain about performance i want to slap them

The new EQ2, better than ever befor !

You need 2gb of ram to really enjoy the game without stuttering especially in Fay.   I had  a Athlon 64-3800 , nvidea 7800, and 1 gb of ram and it was stutter city on balanced settings, i tried turning it dow n to high performance and it was a little better ,  I bought another stick of 1gb of ram and it works well on high performance,it does not work well on balanced settings. yours should work if you run it on extream performance.
