I'm a swede and have played ALOT mmorpg, my first mmorpg was DAoC. There i joined a Scandinavian guild, we became really strong and had many members, about 200.. No one called us racists or anything, there people were mature and smart.
Same with SWG.
I came to WoW and searched for a scandinavian guild. There were some of them on the draenor server, but they where all spammed and very impopular because they were so called "racists". Here people where dumb and close minded.
I think its people like you that destroys the community..
Wait until you have to deal with the racist people that reside here in the states. I wish I couldn't understand some of the foul language they speak, especially in regards to specific races.

When did i say all swedish people are racist? Did i say you can't have a swedish guild?
All im saying is i'm fed up of playing on every server and you finally get a PUG and they kick you or leave because your not swedish : It's like geez, you speak perfect english why can't you just play with other people?
By the way, Swedish in EQ2 are the best behaved of all.
In my guild 25 people over 50 are Swedish, and I never heard a single swedish word in Guild chat, also in group, if there are 5 swedish with me, they just speak English.

If you are fed up with this kind of behaviour change game...........WoW is for kids, and that s how kids behave. Swedish, English, Italians or Eskimos, don't make a difference.
Shouldn't it be "swenationalist"? I mean, one does not normally think of "Sweden" as a race, per se. Seems a little pretentious... I agree, if WoW players can't differentiate between racism and nationalism then there is something seriously wrong. For example, you wouldn't want to do something like, try to play the race card because you got bad service in a Canadian restaurant and you're from France. That would just be nonsense. What are they teaching these kids?
Hah! Sweden are a extremly odd country, so are also Swedish kids, though through out the MMO world people act like this, except from native English speakers since they already know the 'main language'
Though in my search for a MMO whit a genuine RP i have discovered that those who are just there for bashing and slashing often have a lack in english and prefers to 'hang around' whit people where they can make themselves understood.
My point in this is that this is not general just for Swedes, some of us are capable to use the english language and we actually do prefer to speak in English when it comes to MMOs

Funny this topic comes up when we just had a post about saying NO to localized servers, which would mean more mixed countries on the servers.
I have run into players from other countries and generally most are nice. There are those that are just jerks though, be it US, Canada, France, it doesn't matter. We all have our bad apples, if you will.
I only had one really bad experience during a beta where most people were talking some language I didn't understand or even know what it was. It was hard to get any help at all. I wish I could remember the game but I guess it really doesn't matter.
