Most Anticipated Games of 2007

Saw this on Gamespot just a few ago, and their picks came at no suprise to me. http://www.gamespot.com/features/6164303/index.html?tag=topslot;title;1&om_act=convert&click=topslot

Xbox 360  - 7 (5 exclusives, 2 multi-platform)

Wii - 2 (2 Exclusives)

DS- 1 Exclusive

PS2 - 2 Exclusives

PS3 - 2 Multi-platform

PC - 3 (1 Exclusive, 2 Multi-platform)

Where are all these "highly anticipated" PS3 games ive heard about? Obviously Gamespot hasnt seen them or dosent care. I know this is the viewpoint of 1 website, but regardless. They should have put Metroid Prime 3 on that list...

Metroid Prime 3, Assassin's Creed, GTA 4... they couldn't put them all in.... I must say, however, there were some titles I didn't really find that attractive like Quake... but one can't discuss tastes.

P.S. Smash Brothers, Mario (seems to be back without that water thing... wasn't that bad, but was better without it), Zelda and Metroid are THE 4 reasons that make me really sad for not being able to spend a penny on gaming.... going to university in England and I need the money for that..... but if I don't go, I'll be damned if I don't get a Wii and those games!

Well the reason they didnt put in Assassin's Creed and GTA4 is because they are not concrete 2007 releases.

What about No More Heroes for the Wii?

Albiet theres not a lot known about the game, but still I am excited as hell for the game.

Also, I know I am not one to praise the PS3 at all, but there ARE some really fantastic looking games coming out for it. Isn't FFXIII slated for a fall 2007 release?

    Eternally mine,

Its not a concrete launch date. It may say Q3/Q4 2007, but dates always change. Hell I dont even think MGS4 will launch in 2007 which is also why it didnt make the cut.

Spore, my most waited for game of 2007...and I hope that it doesnt get delayed again

Sadly, that's the way my most wanted games end, the one that stands out the most was True Fantasy LIve Online, damn you Microsoft!

Anyway, I'm looking forward to trying all of the most anticipated games out a bit, but I don't avidly follow them anymore, just go here to see what's coming out.

That mario game is Mario Galaxies, personally I want to buy a Wii and get Super Smash Bros. Brawl, if I cant then ill just rent one of the other games for the 360.

But whats the point? Microsoft will rig the compition anyway.

I think it's the objective of your past self to make you cringe.

    Yes and no

In spore, you "evolve" a creature up all the way from the bacterial stage, choosing what design changes would best allow the creature to survive as it moves up. Eventually, you can grant your creature sentience, at which point you gain control of an entire tribe of these creatures, evolution is done, now you're dealing with the advancement of a culture. At another point, it switches to a city based RTS, where you're competing against other civilizations, of the same species as yours. Later on, it switches yet again, and allows your species, united at last, to travel the stars, populate planets, and meet (and possibly end up fighting) other sentient beings.

Its the only game I know of that switches its gameplay nature more than once.
