I really don't know, in my country, Belgium, the shops never even heard of it??????
I found that actually very strange, but echoes of faydwer (EQ2) wasn't available here too at release. I found it now in one shop around here but you have to order it and wait approximatly 10 days.
To start the game when it gets out it could be better to buy the digitaldownload, maybe from SOE. It's along download but i didn't see another option
It's really a shame that it isn't promoted, or even available, around here
PS: even archlord is available here and i wouldn't call that a fun game
Oh it took me a long time to download it so 'd say buy it now or you'll have to wait a couple of days, lol

I was going to stay away from this game, but I succumbed due to a lack of online games to play (I actually downloaded Planetside! That's how desperate I am!), and the UK shop I'm getting it from (play.com) says the 30th. They are very good with delivery dates, I actually got Half Life 2 from them 2 days before the release date

I notice the collector's edition isn't available to pre-order yet, it just says 'availability: Due for release...'.

Localised versions for Germany and France are out in March. For some reason the advertising crossed over - bit of a fuck up there.

The Collector's Edition is sold out at play.com mate. They shut pre-orders and that's why it just says 'due for release'. If you want one I'd try Amazon as they still have them. They may go quickly, or maybe not, but best grab one just in case. Gameplay also have them but are more expensive than Amazon.

I just downgraded to the 2Mbs service. I was on the 10Mbs but that went to crap, went to 4Mbs but the managed to screw that up as well' games were unplayable and download speeds abysmal. NTL have finally forced me onto their bottom tier. I get a solid 2Mbs now and far better pings than on the 10Mbs or 4Mbs services which were awful to the US. Just over a year ago 3Mbs was the top tier and it was a fantastic service, they went rapidly downhill when they introduced the 10Mbs service just before Christmas 2005. God only knows what the network will be like when they roll out the 20Mbs service to everyone, and the proposed 50Mbs service is on the way apparently. Maybe Branson will sort them out...

NTL is crap for Broadband.
Swap to BT mate, with 25 pounds a month you get 4GB with a real download rate up to 300kps and average 230kps.
2 GB takes about 2 hours to download, the entire Vanguard download took me less than 7 hours

Aye they are now, but they were great prior to the 10Mbs roll out fiasco. As for BT I'm too far from the exchange so I'm stuck on cable. I get a good package deal on NTL as well. A steady 2Mbs does me anyway as it's not often I download anything the size of the VG beta. Anyways this is off topic so best not carry it on.

So the 30th then, well I guess a lot of people will be on the same server (only one Euro PvP?).
And if you got sky, they got a Boradband thats 16mbs at only £10 (Thats what im on and its fast as anything)
Dowloading the beta client from fileplanet is alot faster than installing the pre order disk, dl speeds from the VG launchpad are fooking laughable, (10 hours) If the gold disk was pressed a while back the patching for the game on the 30th wont be funny.
I reinstalled yesterday, I had to download the beta from filepanet which was about 3 hours but once id got that, the patch to bring it up todate was only 30 mins or so.
