Help me plz^^ Noob

Hello all ok this may sound kinda silly.. but i was going to give the "Classic" a go.. well i do see alot of posts saying it was or is still a classic game to play.



Well anyway i was looking around in my old games and came across  a New Sealed Box of "Asheron's Call - Dark Majesty - " now i see the main website says Turbine runs this game now.. but on my box.. its got mircosoft plasted all over it.. and " Playable only on Zone.com " .. this just tells me how old this box is.. do i download the one from the site? because the one i got on my disc sends me to microsoft website.. .. but zone.com isnt there any more.



The Box also says at the bottom " Includes Full Version Of Asheron's Call! "



Also the Key i got with the game is 19 Digits.. now i belive Turbines are 25 characters.. it does say next to the key " Enter this number to subscribe to asheron's call via MSN Gaming Zone " ....... .. .. .. .. ... ... ...

now that is an old box indeed, ac has had a few expansions since the original game come out.



these days you need to run throne of destiny, you dont access it via microshaft any more, but by it's own launcher.

think that there is a trial on at the moment, but not exactly sure if it's still going, it was when i left the game - check their pages.

you also used to be able to migrate your old account over to turbine, again that might have stopped by now.



you will enjoy it, it still has one of the best communities out there, and helpfull people around as well.

if it wasnt for the fact that the ucm's are breeding faster than rabbits on steroids and viagra i'd probably still be playing it

looks like the trial is still there, click on the "home" at the top of that url, and will be there. 14 days is nice, gives you chance to spot the changes to the game, dont mind the graphics as they dont make the game, all the quests and people do that, and ac has so many quests you wont finish them in the trial period.



just hope that vg grows to have as many quests as ac has

hehe yeah i did order VG.. but sadly .. my computer isnt really good enough to run it even at low settings maybe with some tweaks.. but ill wait to upgrade my system.. the game is ment to be played on a high end system.. so the graphics and gameplay look lush is the future.. it does look real nice i have to admit
