Why is this taking so long

So i downloaded the 87 meg preinstall to try the free trial. 87 megs took me 9 minutes to download. I started patching and its now 18 hours later and the patch bar is only half full and still estimating 22 hours. I turned off my firewall and antivirus and restarted the patcher to see if it would speed things up....nothing. Any clue why this is taking so long or what i can do to speed things up. Its not like im on dialup or a slow connection here. i usually pull well over a 10 megs a minute but this patch is killing me.

It may not be on your end.  I have done a few downloads and they seem to go fast. The patches seem to vary on the time, guess it depends how many people are patching.
